Of Sound Body and Mind is a complementary wellness practice offering crystal sound bath, Reiki healing, and harp therapy sessions. We are located at NRV Wellness Suites, 100 Arbor Drive, Suite 108B, Christiansburg, VA 24073.

Our practitioner, Kirsti Kaldro, is not a licensed medical professional. The services provided are complementary wellness practices and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition.

We may collect the following types of information from you:

• Personal identifying information: name, date of birth, address, email address, and phone number.
• Emergency contact information: name, relationship, and phone number of your designated emergency contact.
• Health and wellness information: current medical conditions, diagnoses, medications, and prior experience with sound healing or energy work.
• Session information: your reasons for visiting, intentions for your session, and how you heard about our practice.
• Consent records: your electronic signature and acknowledgment of this notice and our liability waiver.

Your information is used solely to provide you with safe, personalized, and effective wellness sessions; contact you regarding appointments; maintain accurate records for continuity of care; respond to emergencies involving your health or safety; and comply with applicable laws. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal or health information with third parties for marketing purposes.

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure, including storing intake records in a secure, access-controlled system; limiting access to the practitioner directly involved in your care; and using secure, encrypted connections for any online data transmission.

We will not disclose your personal or health information without your written authorization, except in emergency situations (contacting emergency services if you are in immediate danger), as required by law (court order or subpoena), or with your written consent to share with other healthcare providers.

You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your records; restrict how we use your information; and receive a printed or electronic copy of this notice at any time. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

We retain client intake records for a minimum of seven (7) years from the date of your last session, or as otherwise required by applicable law. After this period, records are securely destroyed.

We reserve the right to update this Notice of Privacy Practices at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated notice.
